Director of Internal Communications

POSITION SUMMARY/RESPONSIBILITIES

Develops, implements and manages comprehensive internal communications programs to inform, educate and engage employees and medical staff to advance and support strategic business goals and enhance the patient experience.  Creates and implements internal communications activities that aim to reduce barriers to effective communication across all levels of the organization. Responsible for directing the overall communications program, managing all internal communications platforms, and assigning, writing and editing content for all internal channels and audiences.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE

Bachelor's Degree in Journalism, Communications, Marketing or Public Relations is required.  A minimum of five years experience in a healthcare environment is preferred.
