Dialysis Services Executive Director
POSITION SUMMARY/RESPONSIBILITIES
, provides administrative and clinical direction and supervision for the University Health System’s dialysis service line, which includes the renal clinic, inpatient adult and pediatric acute program, all outpatient adult hemodialysis clinics, adult and pediatric home dialysis modalities and jail dialysis services. Works with the Medical Director(s) to plan, organize, supervise, evaluate and administer activities of the various dialysis programs. Promotes the University Health System Customer Relation’s policy.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
A current RN license in the State of Texas. A Bachelor's degree in Nursing is required. Master’s degree in nursing or higher preferred. A national certificate is preferred. Requires 3 years’ experience as the clinical nurse supervisor/charge nurse/administrator and/or director of a freestanding or hospital dialysis unit is required. Three or more years as the administrator/director of a multi-system dialysis operation is preferred. Three or more years’ leadership experience with acutes, chronic dialysis and home modalities/programs are preferred.
